Minjoo Kim is a passionate, enthusiastic and daring animator, designer and motion graphic designer. Her passion for animation is evident in her award-winning work and her selection for numerous film festivals. She is currently working at ITV News (ITN) as a motion graphic designer. She graduated from the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London (UAL) in the United Kingdom with a degree in Animation.

 

She can animate digitally traditionally (rostrum & stop-motion) and is well known for her skill in mixed-media animation. She is capable of using 3D software like Cinema 4D and Autodesk Maya. She enjoys combining different media to create unique visuals and textures for her work, tell stories and describe concepts with them - she is always open and willing to try new and different art styles and methods. She is also proficient in branding, illustration, character and environment design, concept art and graphic design.

 

She is fluent in Korean and English.
