Minjoo Kim is a passionate, enthusiastic and daring animator who graduated from the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London (UAL) in the United Kingdom. She studied BA (Hons) Animation, won awards and was selected for many film festivals. She is current working at ITN for ITV News. She specialises in 2D animation. She can animate digitally, traditionally such as rostrum, stop-motion and is well known for her skill in mixed-media animation. She is also capable of using Cinema 4D. She likes combining different media to create unique visuals and textures for her films, tell stories and describe concepts with them.

Having originally studied Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins (UAL), Minjoo has blended her animation skills with her graphic design experience, which helped communicate her concept to the audience in the most intriguing way and made her have a clean, simple and bold style of art. However, she is always open and willing to try new and different art styles and methods. She is also interested in and skilled at illustration digitally and traditionally, character and environment design, concept art and visual development.
She is fluent in Korean and English and a beginner in French.
