Minjoo Kim is a passionate, enthusiastic and daring designer, specialising in motion graphics and animation. Her passion for motion graphics and animation is evident in her award-winning work, Positivme, and in her selection for numerous film festivals, and nominations from the British Journalism Awards 2025 & Daphne Awards 2025. She is currently a graphic designer at ITV News (ITN). She graduated from the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London (UAL) in the United Kingdom with a degree in Animation.

She is well known for her skill in mixed-media work, where she can animate digitally, traditionally (rostrum & stop-motion). She is proficient in 3D software such as Cinema 4D and Autodesk Maya. She enjoys combining different media to create unique visuals and textures for her work, telling stories and describing concepts with them; she is always open to trying new art styles and methods. She is also proficient in branding, packaging design, illustration, character and environment design and concept art.

 

She is fluent in Korean and English.
